Explanation:

Properties of a rhombus:

  • Opposite angles are equal
  • Opposite sides are equal and parallel
  • Diagonals bisect each other
  • The sum of any two adjacent or consecutive angles is 180°

As the diagonals bisect each other (bisect means to divide into two equal parts) then NR = RP

So, 91 = 2x + 1

Subtract 1 from both sides:

⇒ 90 = 2x

Divide both sides by 2

⇒ x = 45
