so

x/a + y/b = 1

or, -1/a + 3/4 = 1

or, (-4 + 3a) = 4a

or, -4 = 4a - 3a

so, a = -4

now

x/a + y/b = 1

or, x/-4 + y/4 = 1

or, 4x-4y = -16

so

equation : 4x-4y = -16
