When it was at its peak, the Roman Empire was the richest, most powerful society in the entire ancient period. Discuss what it was like. What was the economy like? What did Romans do for fun? How much territory did it control?

Romans took part in riding, fencing, wrestling, throwing, and swimming for fun.

At it's peak they ruled Greece and Spain, the North African coast, much of the Middle East, modern-day France, and even the remote island of Britain.

The economy was mostly based on farmers and trade with other empires/nations.
