Answer:

Explanation:

1). Equations of the system are,

y = -4x + 11 ------(1)

-6x + y = 11

y = 6x + 11 -----(2)

Since, both the equations are neither similar nor parallel,

Therefore, there will be one solution.

2). y = x + 6 ---------(1)

3x - 3y = -18

Further simplify the equation,

x - y = -6

y = x + 6 --------(2)

Since, both the equations of the system are similar, there will be infinitely many solutions.

3. y = -2x + 5 ------(1)

Slope of the equation = -2

2x + y = -7

y = -2x - 7 ------(2)

Slope of the equation = -2

Since, slopes of both the equations are equal in measure,

Equations will have no solution.
