A) x=6

B) 50

Explanation:

8x + 2 + 70 + 60 = 180

8x = 180 - 132

8x = 48

x = 6

$\angle \: b = 8x + 2$

8(6) + 2

$\angle \: b = 50$

70 + (8x + 2) + 60 =180
132 + 8x = 180
8x = 180 - 132
8x = 48
Divide through by 8
x=6
