Explanation:

∠ 1 and ∠ 2 are same- side interior angles and sum to 180° , then

4x + 36 + 3x - 3 = 180

7x + 33 = 180 ( subtract 33 from both sides )

7x = 147 ( divide both sides by 7 )

x = 21

Then

∠ 2 = 3x - 3 = 3(21) - 3 = 63 - 3 = 60°

∠ 2 and ∠ 3 are alternate angles and are congruent, so

∠ 3 = 60°
