A box contains 5 orange pencils, 8 yellow pencils, and 4 green pencils.

total pencil = 5 orange pencils + 8 yellow pencils + 4 green pencils

= 17 pencils

P (g n y) = 4/17 + 8/17

= 0.706

2. since there is a replacement the demoinator remains the same

3. find the probability of each green and yellow

4. add the two probability
