Given the following

angle of elevation = 39degrees

distance from the top of Dakotas head to the tip of the shadow = 77in (Hyp)

Required

Height of Dakota (Opp)

Sin 39 = opposite/hyp

Sin39 = H/77

H = 77sin39

H = 77(0.6293)

H = 48.45in

Hence the Dakota is 48.45in
