Answer:

A_X=(15x^2)/(16)

Explanation:

From the question we are told that:

Base of Flower bed
b=(x)/(2)

Height of Flower bed
h=(x)/(4)

Generally the equation for Area of garden left A_X is mathematically given by

A_X=Area\ of\ Garden\ A_g\ - Area\ of\ flower\ bed\ A_f

Where

A_f=b*h

A_f=(1)/(2)*(x)/(2)*(x)/(4)

A_f=(x^2)/(16)

Therefore

A_X= A_g - A_f

A_X=x^2-(x^2)/(16)

A_X=(15x^2)/(16)
