Answer: 16 workers will take 3 days

Explanation:

First write down what the question gives you

Time = k/amount of workers

Then substitute the values

6 days = k/8 workers

Change the subject to solve for k

6 days x 8 workers = k

48 = k

Now solve The question using the found value for k with the rewritten formula

Time = k/amount of workers

? days = k/16 workers

? Days = 48/16

= 3 days
