Step 1 :- Distribute -2 .

-2x -4 < 14.

Step 2 :- Move constant to the right-hand side and change their sign . And flip the inequality sign.

-2x > 14 + 4

Step 3 :- Add 14 and 4.

-2x > 18

Step 4 :- Divide both side by -2.

-2x / - 2 > 18 / -2

x = -9
