Answer:

y = x + 4

Explanation:

y = mx + b (m = slope; b = y-intercept)

I used 2 points (-2 , 2) and (1 , 5) to calculate the slope of the line

m= (y₂ - y₁)/(x₂ - x₁)

(5-2)/(1--2) = 3/3= 1

y = 1x + b

using point (1, 5)

5 = 1(1) + b

5 = 1 + b

b = 5-1

b=4

y= 1x + 4 or simply y= x + 4
