I thought of a number, multiplied it by 2 ½ , divided the result by 1 1/5 , subtracted 7/18 from it, and got 1 ⅚ . What was my number?

So now it goes like this:

We start with 1 5/6(1.83)

Then we add 7/18(0.389)

Then we multiply by 1 1/5(1.2)

1.83+0.389 = 2.219

2.219*1.2 = 2.6628

2.6628/2.5 = 1.06

This is 1.06 in decimal form, or 1 1/15 in fraction form
