Explanation:

To paint walls, we will be looking for surface area.

Since this is a room and we have three measurements, we can assume there will be the floor, the ceiling, and four walls. This means we will be looking for 6 sides in total.

-> Keep in mind opposite pairs of walls will be the same, and the floor and ceiling will be the same.

We end up with the following sides:

11 * 12

We can simplify this to the following:

(2(11 * 12)) + (2(11 * 14) + (2(12 * 14) = 908 feet²

908 feet² must be covered with paint.
