Solution:

In a right angle triangle,


\sin \theta=(Perpendicular)/(Hypotenuse)

Substituting Perpendicular = v and hypotenuse = r in the above formula, we get


\sin \theta=(v)/(r)

The value of
\sin \theta is
(v)/(r).

Therefore, the correct option is B.
