and fries be y

4x+3y= 7.25--------------1

6x+3y= 9.75--------------2

Subtract the equations

4x+3y= 7.25--------------1

-2x+0= -2.5

2x=2.5

x=2.5/1.5

x= 1.25

Put x= 1.25 in 1

4x+3y= 7.25--------------1

4(1.25)+3y= 7.25--------------1

5+3y= 7.25

3y=7.25-5

3y=2.25
