A3, The circular base of the cylinder (r=1)

The slant height of the cone, s = sqrt(1^2+2^2), s = sqrt(5)

The length (circumference of the base), l = 2 pi r = 2pi r = 2pi

The area is

A1 pi s l = pi * sqrt(5) (2 pi r) = 2(pi^2)sqrt(5)

The curved surface has an area of

A2 = 2 pi r h = 2pi (1)(11) =22pi

The base has an area of

A3 = pi r^2 = pi

Total area = A1+A2+A3 = 2sqrt(5) (pi^2) + 22pi + pi

= 2sqrt(5) pi^2 + 23pi

= 116.4 m^2 approx.
