Distance
= sqrt((x2 - x1)^2 + (y2 - y1)^2)
= sqrt((- 8 - 1)^2 + (12 - 1)^2)
= sqrt((-9)^2 + 11^2)
= sqrt(81 + 121)
= sqrt(202)
≈ 14.21
