Answer:

let w = the width of the rectangle

let w- 9=the length of the rectangle

A= L×W

220=w(w-9)

220=w^-9w

w^-9w-220=0

(w-20)(w+11)=0

w-20=0 or w+11=0

w=20cm or x-11 illogical answer
