Volume of a pyramid is:

V = l*w (h/3)

We know that; Volume is 40, Width is 2, and Height is 4, therefore;

40 = l*2 (4/3)

40 = 2l (4/3)

(3/4) * 40 = 2L

30 = 2L

30/2 = L

15 = L

therefore the length = 15 meters
