m=(-5 - -3)/( -6 -6)

= (-5+3)/ (-6-6)

= -2/-12

= 1/6

The slope intercept form is

y= mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y intercept

Substitute a point into the equation

-5 = 1/6(-6) +b

-5 = -1+b

Add 1 to each side

-4 = b
