we have

Cos 30=adjacent/hypotenuse

Cos 30=12/x

x=12/cos30

x=8√3

and

Sin 30=opposite/hypotenuse

Sin30=y/x

y=sin30*x

y=sin30*8√3

y=4√3

Option D.

x=8√3 and y=4√3 is a required answer.
