Why is corruption regarded as social crime? Elucidate with example​

it is called social crime because it is been done in so many places which is all known e.g every one that the government is not doing so well so it can be called social crime

Corruption is considered as a social crime because it involves more social aspects. A perfect example of this would be a police officer taking bribes in exchange for not ticketing a person.
