Answer:

2FeBr₃ + 3Na₂S → 1Fe₂S₃ + 6NaBr

Step-by-step explanation:

SOLUTION :-

Balance the equation by hit & trial method , and you'll get the answer :-

2FeBr₃ + 3Na₂S → 1Fe₂S₃ + 6NaBr

VERIFICATION :-

In the reactant side of the equation :-

  • Number of Fe atoms = 2×1 = 2
  • Number of Br atoms = 2×3 = 6
  • Number of Na atoms = 3×2 = 6
  • Number of S atoms = 3×1 = 3

In the product side of the equation :-

  • Number of Fe atoms = 1×2 = 2
  • Number of S atoms = 1×3 = 3
  • Number of Na atoms = 6×1 = 6
  • Number of Br atoms = 6×1 = 6

Number of atoms of all elements are same in both reactant & product side of the equation. Hence , the equation is balanced.
