A farmer sells 8.2kg of apples and pears at the farmers market. 4/5 of this weight is apples and the rest is pears. How many kg of pears did she sell at the market?

Solution :-

Weight of pears = 1 - Weight of apple

=> 1 - 4/5

=> 5 - 4/5

=> 1/5

Now

Weight of pears = ⅕ × 8.2

Weight of pears = 1.64 kg
