What is the equation in slope-intercept form of the line that includes the point (36,0) and has a slope of 9/4?

Edit: I figured it out but you can have the points anyway lol

Answer:

y = 9/4x - 81

Explanation:

Given the slope = 9/4

The point (36, 0) ; x1 = 36 ; y1 = 0

Slope intercept relation :

y = mx + c ; c = intercept, m = slope

Using the relation :

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

y - 0 = 9/4(x - 36)

y - 0 = 9/4x - 81

y = 9/4x - 81

Hence, the required equation is : y = 9/4x - 81

9/4 = slope ; - 81 = intercept
