consider the coordinates of A and A'

A (0, 4 ) , A' (- 4, 1 )

0 to - 4 in the x- direction means subtracting 4

4 to 1 in the y- direction means subtracting 3

then translation rule is

(x, y ) → (x - 4, y - 3 )
