Answer:

226.195 cm²

In terms of pi:

A = (π · 12²) ÷ 2

Explanation:

A = πr²

A = π · 12²

A = π · 144

A = 452.39

452.39 ÷ 2

226.195

Answer:

72pi

Explanation:

The formula for the area of a circle is pi*r^2

Since three radius is 12, then it’s pi*12^2

pi*12^2= 144 x pi but that’s the area of a whole circle so divide by 2 and you get:

72pi
