Joseph needed $125 to buy a new pair of jordan's. His neighbor will pay him $6 per hour to walk his dog and his mother gave him $8 for mowing the lawn. What is the minimum amount of hours he will need to walk the dog in order for him to buy a new pair of Jordans?

Answer: 14⅝ hiurs

Explanation:

Based on the information given in the question, we can form an equation which will be:

8 + 6h = 125

where, h = number of hours

6h = 125 - 8

6h = 117

h = 117/8

h = 14 ⅝hours
