Given:

  • A figure of cylindrical shape
  • Radius = 2cm
  • Height = 6 cm

To figure out :

  • Total surface area
  • Volume

Solution :

Note : Put the value of pi as 3.14

Volume = πr²h

  • 3.14 × 2² × 6
  • 3.14 × 4 × 6
  • 3.14 × 24
  • 75.36 cm³

Surface area = 2πrh + 2πr²

  • 2πr ( r + h )
  • 2 × 3.14 × 2 ( 2 + 6 )
  • 12.56 × 8
  • 100.48 cm²

Answer:

Solution given:

B=12.56cm²

P=12.56cm

H=6cm

Surface area of cylinder=P*H+2B=100.48cm²

Volume=B*H=12.56*6=75.36cm³
