Answer:

Solution given:

BD=35ft

AC=43ft

AB=8ft

EF=33-8=25ft

AE=26ft

Now

area of right angled triangle ∆AEF

=½(EF*AE)=½(25×25)=312.5ft²

area of parallel trapezoid=½AB(BD+AC)

=½*8(35+43)=312ft²

So

Area of polygon : 312.5+312=624.5ft² is a required answer.

Answer:

  • 624.5 ft²

Explanation:

The area is the sum of the areas of the two trapezoids.

Dimensions are shown on the picture.

Area formula for trapezoid:

  • A = 1/2(a + b)h

Total area:

  • A = 1/2(33 + 8)(25) + 1/2(18 + 10)(8) = 624.5 ft²
