OK for mates, it doesnt make sense cuz they are different animals, soo it's unlike for a lion to mate with a savanna dog.

For air, there is plenty, they arent trap in the same bubble (if you know what I mean)

And sunlight, its a large grassland and not alot of trees, so mostly likely they are in it all the time.
