In two or more complete sentences, describe how to graph the following equation. In your description, include the slope and both thex - and y-intercepts of the line.

Explanation:

y=mx+b

M is slope and b is the y intercept. The slope for the equation is -1/2 and the y intercept is 0.

When graphing we 1st plot the point for the y intercept, which in this case is (0,0), from there we plot the slope which is -1/2, so we go down 1 point on the y axis, then to the right 2 points on the x-axis, (2,-1). lastly the points are connected and arrows placed on each end of the line
