Question :-

What is the volume of the cone? (Use 3.14 for π)

___________________

Solution :-

Given Information :-

  • Vertical Height of Cone = 17 ft
  • Radius of the base of the Cone = 10 ft
  • Radius² = 10² = 100 ft
  • Value of π = 3.14

To Find :-

  • Volume of the Cone.

Formula Used :-

  • V = \sf (1)/(3) \pi {r}^(2) h

Calculation :-

We have to substitute the given values in the formula to calculate the volume.

\sf : \implies Volume = (1)/(3) \pi {r}^(2) h

Substituting the values, We get,

\sf: \implies Volume = (1)/(3) * 3.14 * 100 * 17

Calculating further, We get,

\sf: \implies Volume = 1,779.33 \: ft³

Final Answer :-

The Volume of Cone is 1,779.33 ft³.

Hence, option 2 i.e., 1779.33 ft³.
