12.75/4.5=2.83
Cost of turkey=$2.83

2.83(5.5)=15.565 or 15.57
Cost of 5.5 pound turkey is $15.57

Answer:

if it costs 12.75, we can probably divide that by the decimal, as fractions and decimals are similar. just turn the decimal into a fraction and it should be easy :)

(Turn it into a whole number by the way. "When dividing a whole number by a decimal, you're going to need to change that decimal into a whole number."- from Khan Academy)
