I think it's like this

3x-26=2x+24

We simpilfy the equation to the form which is simple to understand.

3x-26=2x+24

We move allterms containing X to the left and all others terms to the right

+3x-2x=+24+26

We simplfiy left and right sideof the eqution.

+1x=+50

We divide both sides of the equation by 1 to get x.

x=50
