According to the scenario, computation of the given data are as follows,

a = x-3

b = x+14

In supplementary angles , the formula are as follows,

a + b = 180

By putting the value, we get

x - 3 + x + 14 = 180

2x + 11 = 180

2x = 180 - 11

2x = 169

x = 169 ÷ 2

x = 84.5

So, a = 84.5 - 3

= 81.5

b = 84.5 + 14

= 98.5
