Explanation:

$x^(2) -6x+9=0\\x^(2) -3x-3x+9=0\\x(x-3)-3(x-3)=0\\x-3=0 , x-3=0\\x=3,x=3$

Although we get the sdame answer twice we can also say that we get 2 answers.
