x = 26. y = -15

Explanation:

Let x and y be the two numbers

x + y = 11. #1

x - y = 41. #2

Adding the two equations together, we get

2x = 52 ----> x = 26

Using this value on equation #2, we get

26 - y = 41

or y = -15
