We are given the expression:

(√(2) )/(3) = -(2)/(3) Sin\theta

√(2)} = -2 Sin\theta [multiplying both sides by 3]

Sin\theta = (√(2))/(-2) [Dividing both sides by -2]

Sin\theta = (-1)/(√(2))

which means:

\theta = Sin^(-1)((-1)/(√(2)) )

\theta = -Sin^(-1)((1)/(√(2)) )

θ = -45° [because
Sin^(-1)((1)/(√(2))) = 45°]

Hence, the answer is -45° OR (360-45) = 315°
