Answer:

3x+4=4x-5

3x‐(4x)=-5+-4

x=9

plug in 9 for x on both sides and add them together to find BC

each side is 31,

answer is 62.

Answer:

b

Explanation:

Since AB = AC = 25, then the triangle is isosceles

Segment AD bisects BC at right angles , then

CD = BD, that is

4x - 5 = 3x + 4 ( subtract 3x from both sides )

x - 5 = 4 ( add 5 to both sides )

x = 9

Then

BC = 3x + 4 + 4x - 5 = 7x - 1 = 7(9) - 1 = 63 - 1 = 62
