14/12 because if u go on calculator and do 5 divided by 12 + 9 divided by 12 u get 1.166667 or something and then u do 14/12 and it’s the same number.

Answer:

(7)/(6)

Explanation:

(5)/(12) + (9)/(12) = ?

When adding fractions, the denominators must be the same. In this case, they are both 12, so we can just add the numerators.

5 + 9 = 14

We are left with:

(14)/(12)

14 and 12 are both even numbers and can be simplified by dividing by 2.

14 ÷ 2 = 7

12 ÷ 2 = 6

(14)/(12) simplifies to
(7)/(6)

This is your answer.

Hope this helps!
