blood is filled with electrolytes (such as Na+, K+, Cl- and etc).

The concentration of blood is 0.9%.

The table salt we consume, constitutes of Na+ and Cl- (in an ionic bond), Which dissociates in aqueous medium to form free ions. This only gives salt its characteristic taste, and by virtue they are present in blood too. So, this should be the reason to your finding.

Answer:

Blood tastes salty because it has mineral ions. Things like potassium, and calcium and other things. Also blood PH do be a little high, with its level around 7.35–7.45. Hope this helps you
