Answer: 290 miles

Explanation:

Given

Allison drove with a speed of 58 mph

Austin drove with a speed of 40 mph

If both start at the same time

suppose Allison takes t hours to reach the destination. So, the difference between the distance traveled in t hours is 90 miles

\Rightarrow 58t-40t=90\\\Rightarrow 18t=90\\\Rightarrow t=5\ hr

Distance traveled by Allison is
58* 5=290\ miles
