Explanation:

3×1=3

y=(1)+3

y=4

3(1)+2(4)=11

so then 3+8=11

x=1 and y=4

Explanation:

3x+2y=11...........(1)

y=x+3................(2)

Substituting the value of y in equation (1).

3x+2(x+3)=11

3x+2x+6=11

5x=11-6

5x=5

x=5/5=1

x=1

Now, again

Substituting the value of x in equation 2.

y=1+3=4

y=4

Therefore, x=1 and y=4.
