Answer: Trying new things was a challenge for my friend. There was a fear that she might not be good enough or make a mistake. Of course, she was always eager to try new things, but she wasn't confident enough. Although she had a positive first experience with a drawing club, she quit after learning other people's art looked better than hers. She felt she missed the greatest chance of meeting people who shared her interests and showing her art. She did not want to be worried that she was not good enough or that she would make a mistake again. She didn't give up, even when she was scared or wanted to go back home. Afterward, her life got better. She met new people with whom she could hang out, and she became more confident.

I hope this help :)

also, make sure you rephrase this or use some of my sentences to help yours.

The other answer is kinda right but you can say somn about their habits when they’re upset or depressed

For ex;
looking down, fiddling with their hands/fingers, looking uncomfortable, sighing a lot, wearing something different than usual (like if they wear bright colors and go to wear all black or grey or somn), if they Dnt Talk to ppl as much as b4, attempting to distract themselves from the struggles.

(Sure these are classic examples of depression but they are also used in low confidence situations as well so feel free to choose some stuff from my “heavy artillery” lol)
