The eqn becomes :

7p + 14 = 5p + 20

collecting like terms ;

7p - 5p = 20 - 14

=> 2p = 6 and

:- P = 3 ( dividing both sides by 2)

P= 3 is the only solution to the equation above and it satisfies the equation.
