Given:

In a right angle triangle ABC,
m\angle B=90^\circ, BC=x, AC=11, m\angle C=41^\circ.

To find:

The value of x to the nearest tenth.

Solution:

In a right angle triangle,

\cos\theta =(Adjacent)/(Hypotenuse)

In the given right angle triangle ABC,

\cos \angle C =(BC)/(AC)

\cos (41^\circ) =(x)/(11)

11(0.7547) =x

8.3017 =x

Round the answer to the nearest tenth.

x\approx 8.3

Therefore, the value of x is 8.3 units.
