Given,

u = 0.5 m/s

a=0.05 m/s²

and v=0

Now, v = u − at

=> 0 = 0.5−(0.05×t)

=> t = 10 s

after 10s it will stop

velocity after 5s is

v = 0.5-(0.05×5) = 0.25 m/s
