Explanation:

Let the length of the width = w.

Then, the length of the length is w + 2.

The perimeter of a rectangle is 2*length + 2*width.

Therefore, 2*(w+2) + 2*w = 64

2w + 4 + 2w = 64

4w + 4 = 64

4w = 60

w = 15
